Mr. Staulcup is a former law enforcement officer with the Richmond County Sheriff’s Department. During his tenure with the Sheriff’s Department, he served on the Road Patrol, Narcotics, and Criminal Investigations Divisions.

Mr. Staulcup has been appointed to assist criminal defense attorneys in the states of Georgia and South Carolina, as well as the United States District Court for the Southern District of Georgia.


During his career, Mr. Staulcup has served as vice president and president of the National Association of Security and Investigative Regulators (NASIR). Three governors appointed him to the Georgia Board of Private Detectives and Security Agencies Licensing Board.


Gene Staulcup & Associates, Inc. employs a staff of three investigators with a wide range of expertise and a combined 60 years of experience. The agency is licensed and bonded in Georgia and South Carolina.
